Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 12: Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (R.A): A man asked the Prophet (S.A.W), "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet (S.A.W) replied, "To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know".

Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (R.A): A man asked the Prophet (S.A.W), "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet (S.A.W) replied, "To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know".

Narrated Ibn Abbas (R.A): The Prophet (S.A.W) said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijja)." Then some companions of the Prophet (S.A.W) said, "Not even Jihad?" He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself and his property in danger (for Allah's sake) and does not return with any of those things".

Narrated Abu Musa (R.A): Some people asked Allah's Messenger (S.A.W), "Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands".

Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (R.A): The Prophet (S.A.W) said, "Al-Wasil is not the one who recompenses the good done to him by his relatives, but Al-Wasil is the one who keeps good relations with those relatives who had severed the bond of kinship with him".
